TRM Neutracid - supplement supporting recovery after exercise in horses

A build-up of lactic acid in the blood and muscles can cause muscle stiffness, cramping and damage to muscle fibres. This means muscles cannot perform their normal function of contracting and relaxing during exercise. Some horses are more susceptible to muscle cramps than others. Neutracid neutralises excess lactic acid accumulated in the blood and tissues and replenishes depleted alkali reserves while restoring normal blood pH.

Sodium citrate neutralises lactic acid that builds up in the blood and muscle tissues. Citric acid metabolites act as a buffer when there is an alkali deficiency or lactic acid build-up. As a result, neutracid prevents muscle stiffness after strenuous work and speeds up recovery, allowing horses to remain in peak form for longer.

Guaranteed composition (per 90 ml/ per 1 litre):

• Sodium citrate 27720 mg/ 308000 mg
• Citric acid 9240 mg/ 102667 mg
• Carrier to 90 ml/ 1000 ml

Tip:
Neutracid should be given alongside an electrolyte. Do not exceed the recommended doses without consulting a nutritionist or vet.
Horses should always have access to fresh drinking water.

Dosage:
Add to the normal feed ration or administer directly into the mouth using a syringe
Horses in training: 90 ml daily in the evening feed (or split between two feeds).
After competition: an additional 30 ml in the evening feed.
