TRM Superlyte Syrup - liquid electrolytes for horses

During very intense, short periods of physical exertion, horses lose considerable amounts of fluid through sweating. They also lose electrolytes in the ratio 2(sodium):2(chloride):1(potassium). Scientists have demonstrated that horses running 1 to 2 miles (1600 to 3200 metres) can lose up to 10 litres of fluid through sweating. We therefore recommend the horse electrolytes in our range.

Further electrolyte losses also occur during daily training, especially in hot weather. Electrolyte deficiencies can lead to poor performance, dehydration, muscle cramps (tying-up) or heat exhaustion. Regular electrolyte replacement is essential for the horse's wellbeing and optimum performance. TRM Superlyte Syrop quickly replaces electrolytes in exactly the same proportions as they are lost in horse sweat.

Dosage:

TRM Superlyte Syrop should be added to the normal daily ration or given directly into the mouth using a syringe.
Horses in training: Give 80 ml daily.
After racing/competition: Give 160 ml
The horse should have access to fresh drinking water at all times.
